Straight answers
- How much does a tandem skydive in Cornwall cost?
- £299 all in: £49 books your date here, and the remaining ≈£250 is paid directly to Cornish Parachute Club at the dropzone on the day. No hidden extras. Photo and video packages are optional and bought at the dropzone.
- What happens if the weather cancels my jump?
- Coastal Cornwall weather scrubs jumps regularly. That's the honest truth of the sport. Up to your day, we move your date free, as many times as it takes — weather, work, whatever the reason. Once you've checked in at the airfield and paid the club, you're in their hands: Cornish Parachute Club honours your jump for two years, and any rebooking from there goes directly through the club.
- What does the £49 deposit actually get me?
- It locks your date with Cornish Parachute Club and counts toward the £299 total, so booking here costs you nothing extra: the remaining ≈£250 is the standard balance, paid at the airfield. The deposit is non-refundable, but the date is flexible — we move it free, as many times as you need, right up until you jump.
- Are there age or weight limits?
- Minimum age 16 (under-18s need guardian consent). Weight limits apply for safety, typically around 15 stone, and the club confirms yours when you book. The club's requirements are definitive.
- How long does the day take?
- Plan for around half a day at Perranporth Airfield. You'll be briefed, kitted up, and jump when your load is called. Jumping depends on weather and the manifest, so bring patience and a big appetite for the view.
- What is AFF and can I really learn to skydive in Cornwall?
- Accelerated Freefall is the fastest route to becoming a qualified solo skydiver: ground school, then instructor-accompanied jumps from Level 1 to 8. Cornish Parachute Club trains AFF at Perranporth. £49 secures your course start and we call you to plan the rest.
We act as booking agent for Cornish Parachute Club; the £49 deposit is our booking fee, disclosed up front. Jumping is operated entirely by the club under British Skydiving rules — see terms.
